I'm sure almost everyone will say this, but my mother is incredible. She had eight children and home-schooled them for 15 years. She works a job and keeps up the hobby farm and house with twelve acres. She broke her shoulder two winters ago but didn't let that slow her down from taking care of her family. My father isn't among the most understanding and patient of men, so she puts up with a lot. I admire her ability to keep going, even when things are tough, and to continually care about people, even when they aren't kind.

I would say my mom and grandmother, but that's the obvious answer. I went to the Pink Together website and read several of the Ambassador stories from Molly, Lindsey, Irene, Jackie and Mercedes. These stories of breast cancer survivors are very inspiring. These women have survived and prospered despite big obstacles.

It is so important to be aware of any form of cancer. Cancer is a "word" not a "sentence." My head mistress in school - she was a sweet Irish nun who spoke in whispers but she had the respect of every girl in the convent. It was the manner she spoke to us, no shouting, just gently and making us feel what we said was as important as adults.

There are actually a few women that inspire me, but I would have to say my friend comes to mind most. She was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, but by the time they found it, she was already in stage 2. The doctor's mis-diagnosed her about 6 months ago and prescribed her something that actually made the cancer grow faster. Just two weeks ago, she had to have her appendix, ovaries, and part of her lower intestine removed because the cancer spread all over the place. Having gone through all that, she is still the happiest person in the world. Her chemo has started and she still goes running as much as she can. She still does every activity she did before. She has been nothing but positive through the whole ordeal and not mad at the doctor's who mis-diagnosed her. Of all the donations she has received, she has given some of them to the hospitals and other cancer patients. I am amazed at her hope. She is truly inspiring everyone around her to include me.

My mother is my inspiration she raised 7 children on her own after the death of my father, she lost a son and daughter in law in car accident when they were in their 20's she helped raise their 5(they had 5 kids all a year apart ages 2-6) children, she helped me and the rest of my siblings as much as she could with weddings and other situations. She remarried and just over 2 years now my stepfather passed away she never gave up at age 69 she just got engaged.
She never drove a day in her life so she would walk and push a grocery cart home so we would have food. She did all she could with no help from others. She raised us to have kindness, love and appreciation for all that we meet.
Also we were raised to never steal, hurt or offend so that has stuck with me and that is how I have raised my family.

Thank you so much for giving me a chance to be a winner

My Nanny inspires me more than I can put into words. Her life has been so hard, yet she pushed on. 72 years old and she still thinks she's a teenager. She tackles challenges most woman half her age wouldn't attempt. I wish I was even half the woman she is.

Thanks for the chance to win!

My friend Trudy inspires me. She was an abused woman that fought to get out and rise two children on her own. Not only did she leave but she became an advocate to help other women. She now has stage 4 cancer and is fighting for her life but she does so with a smile and sense of hummor that I feel will pull her through and when it does I just know she is going to be one of the best Ambassadors there is. I would love to win this to gove it to her
